This is a required feature. Without a spending limit I don't feel very confortable

Extremely disconcerting to realize there is no option to prevent potentially arbitrary charges. (and I can't remove all card(s) from my account, the only option would be to disable all my services if I was worried).
I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt and assume this is not an intentional omission.

It looks like this feature isn't even planned yet, according to the current Roadmap board 😔. This is really disappointing. Render has (internal) spending limits for build pipelines, which are totally controllable and predictable costs, but it doesn't have external spending limits to protect us from DDOS attacks. It's not just about hobbyists; we also need to set spending limits in our commercial projects to prevent disasters.

I know it's probably difficult to cater to the hobbyist/personal users, but I'd be willing to enter a credit card and spend money if I had confidence that my services would just stop working once I hit my personal budget.
Without any kind of spending limit, I'm stuck in a weird limbo. I can afford $50 a month, but I can't afford $500. And the fact that I have no real control over what I'll be billed means I'm spending $0 instead.

I am also waiting for that. This cloud provider seems great for my needs expect this part. Vercel.com and Railway.app already support it, why they do not?
