Managing environment variables on Render.com is a great feature. However, there are a few limitations that could be improved:
  1. Lack of Update Information:
    Currently, there is no option to see when a individual variable was last updated or who updated it.
  2. Sorting Options:
    All variables are always sorted alphabetically, with no option to sort by last update date.
These issues can create problems, especially when managing multiple environments like Prod, Stage, and Dev. For example, last week I added a variable to the Dev environment but now I can't remember its name. Without knowing the update details, I have to compare all the variables between the multiple environment to find the new one.
To address these issues, it would be helpful to have the following features:
The ability to sort variables based on:

Alphabetical Order
-
Last Update Date
Having these options would make it easier to manage and track changes across different environments.
Vercel has this feature and its very useful.
