We’d like MongoDB Atlas added as a managed OIDC provider alongside AWS, GCP, Anthropic and OpenAI, so Render services can authenticate to Atlas through its Workload Identity Federation instead of static database passwords. Atlas lets you register an external OIDC provider by issuer URI and audience and grant database access based on the token’s claims. We’d also like it to work for service previews, so a preview can authenticate the same way as its base service without setting up access for each preview separately.
