Feature Requests

There is no easy way to backup and restore Render-managed Redis instances. The SAVE and BGSAVE commands are disabled, and we don't have any way to download the dumps anyway. It would be nice to be able to download a dump via Render's web UI, then load the dump into the new Redis instance using redis-cli, similar to what is already possible for Postgres.

An alternative to Redis. Valkey seems to be making a lot of performance improvements since the fork and would be nice to have that as an alternative to Redis. We can use docker for now of course, but having a managed service is a nice bonus.

For small but growing apps in production, it's a must to be able to preserve data in redis (or at least export it and reimport it manually) when upgrading plans.

I would be happy to pay for two (or more) matching sized Redis instances if they were offered as a option for anyone interested in outage resiliency. You could guarantee them to be on different hosts (or optionally regions), automatically configure them as a redundant Redis cluster, and everyone wins!

I want to be able to use modules like those in https://github.com/RediSearch/RediSearch and in https://redis.io/resources/modules/ . Can you all add support for these in the managed service offering?
