Feature Requests

Currently, static outbound IPs are shared with other users, which might lead to being blocked because of a misbehaving neighbor using the same IP. It would be great to have dedicated static outbound IPs that can be used in a project. This would be something like Quotaguard, but built inside Render. All web services within the same project or environment could use the same outbound IP.

Please add data center in vietnam because many people need it for web service because of latency to pi network api

Currently if there's a .gitmodules defined in the repository, then the build process always calls sync/update on it. However I've got a monorepo which has many different projects and i don't need to do the submodule sync for the particular deployment I'm using on render. what would usually be a 2minute process to build and deploy ends up being about 10minutes because its syncing submodules i'm not using anyway. removing the .gitmodules is not an option since it would break every one elses projects. i think this is straight forward for you since you already check if that file exists before calling the sync command. just need to add another flag/envvar

Everything else I have is in that region. I use oregon right now but it's not ideal.

Projects are good but it's one more level of indirection which makes it hard to quickly go back and forth between multiple projects and/or organizations and browse deploy status. Therefore in many cases I end up deleting projects and go back to all-flat because the UX trade-offs favor the ability of browse by simple scrolling. It would be great if the top-level dashboard shows all services expanded by default, potentially in a tree-like collapsible sections / group headers per projects and environments. (better yet, save the last collapse state for next visit) Also want to add that, looking back, the most frequent reason to visit Render Dashboard is to check the deploy status and check logs. I can easily identify services that need my attention when the spinner is animating.

You can't change the version of Python at all, very bad, it took me 3 days to try to host a dash and I couldn't. I used another free platform that solved my problems in 5 minutes, your service is terrible, I certainly won't use it again

It was counterintuitive to not be able to link the .env group to a service during the service set-up process, and only after. The pane for linking to .env groups should be accessible when setting up a service.

Hello Render Team, I am experiencing a persistent deployment failure for my web service: prediction_tool_project (username: Cheline2424). The build process completes successfully, and gunicorn is shown as installed in the build logs. However, the deployment fails with the error: /usr/local/bin/python: No module named gunicorn . Here are the relevant log excerpts: WARNING: There was an error checking the latest version of pip... Build successful Deploying... Running /usr/local/bin/python -m gunicorn --worker-class eventlet -w 1 app:app /usr/local/bin/python: No module named gunicorn Exited with status 1 My requirements.txt includes gunicorn . I have also tried various "Start Command" configurations, such as gunicorn app:app , python -m gunicorn app:app , and /usr/local/bin/python -m gunicorn app:app . I always perform "Clear build cache & Deploy" after each change. Could you please investigate why Gunicorn is not being found in the runtime environment despite being installed during the build? Right now the billing is on a global level. But it would be most useful when billing multiple clients, that this is per project (or from a other feature request, each project linked to a client) Shared services like render minutes could be calculated with the amount of minutes used by each project And of course there would be a section for non-project.

The same as it offers for github, show status updates on gitlab's services
